Network of Collaboration Between Europe and Latin America-Caribbean Countries

From NECOBELAC COMMUNITY ……..to NECOBELAC NETThe many activities carried out within the NECOBELAC project, in particular the training activities in Europe and Latin America on issues concerning scientific writing and new OA publication models, are promoting the NECOBELAC Community development. To date, 120 institutions form part of this community and many other institutions of European and Latin American countries will join in the coming months. Becoming a part of this community offers the opportunity to establish contacts and develop partnerships with other institutions of one's own country and other countries, in Europe and Latin America, which may continue even after the end of the project. The section "Contact and Community" of the project website includes the names of the institutions of each country and the names of people for each institution who took part in the NECOBELAC training courses or declared their interest in the project aims as well as in joining the NECOBELAC Community. Most of them agreed that their e-mail address be public in order to establish contacts and collaborations. To properly operate the NECOBELAC Community, participants take concrete actions to establish new contacts and collaborations and develop the NECOBELAC network, therefore we ask you to indicate your professional area of activity and your field of interest to facilitate exchanges and collaborations, as well as possible collaborations already underway with European and Latin American institutions. We also remind you to keep us informed about the organization and realization of NECOBELAC training courses at local level (T2 courses). In this way, we will provide support for the initiatives you are undertaking and ship you materials to be distributed; your initiative will appear on the website and we can better monitor the project impact.
